Brazil is the world’s fifth largest country both by geographical area and by population. The Brazilian economy is the world’s sixth largest by nominal GDP and the seventh largest by purchasing power parity (as of 2011). In 2011, by its volume of GDP Brazil overcame the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and stands behind the United States, China, Japan, Germany and France.

Brazil, with its numerous population represents a huge and at the same time unsaturated market and thanks to the existing trade agreements it is gateway to the other countries of Latin America.

While the USA and most of the European countries have been facing economic problems in recent years, the economy of Brazil has been flourishing, despite a slowdown in its growth in 2012. In view of the upcoming World Cup in 2014 and the Summer Olympic Games in 2016, which will be held in Brazil, one can count not only with the continuing favourable development of the economy, but also with an increased interest of foreign investors, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, energy and manufacturing sector.

Future investors seeking to take advantage of the opportunities in the biggest market of Latin America and need help in finding business partners, distribution channels, or just need a market study related to the basic price survey of selected products, as well as assistance during the fairs, given the ignorance of the Portuguese, Brazilex offers its services aimed at various aspects setting up a business in this exotic country.
